Before starting with Daisy I was in a bad headspace in relation to my self image. I was having hormonal issues and mobility issues related to excess weight and I wanted things to change in a sustainable way. Before starting I was concerned that the changes I needed to make would be unrealistic and unsustainable. I started seeing results straight away - I was losing at least 1lb per week and the steady weight loss helped my mobility, and in turn allowed me to become more active. I was less tired and did not feel the need to snack between meals.
I liked that Daisy was not judgemental and was clear to stress that any changes shouldn’t be restrictive. In order to maintain change it needs to become a lifestyle rather than a fad and that helped me to obsess over weight loss less and just focus on how I felt.
The process of working with Daisy has been great. I have made a huge number of changes to my diet and lifestyle that are manageable with a partner who eats differently. I struggled with the amount of food preparation I needed to do for work lunches at the start but Daisy gave some good recipe suggestions and tips for bulk cooking.

Before I discovered Daisy I was feeling tired most of the time, I would often feel bloated after eating, I would suffer with bad headaches. My sleep wasn’t great and my energy levels matched.
Before booking I had some reservations about whether I could take on board any advice given, if could afford to go ahead with it, and I was feeling overwhelmed.
I would say it took about 4-5 weeks before I could notice the benefits of making changes to what I was eating. I enjoyed finding out the next steps and all the knowledge given by Daisy. She provided easy to understand plans and everything is explained well.
My top three tips I learned from Daisy were understanding what to eat for my body, which vitamins are important for me, and which components I need to include in each meal.
I’ve enjoyed the 3 months with Daisy with our fortnightly video calls to go over any concerns or questions I have. To come away feeling like someone has listened and genuinely wants to help, and has come up with ideas and solutions to help with these areas, has been so helpful. It has made me think about my food and snack choices as well as habits. I feel less bloated, I have more energy on a day to day basis. And just feel happier. I am pretty well versed in nutrition and wellbeing but my knowledge pales in comparison to Daisys!
I come from a family with a poor history relating to digestive issues so decided to follow her advice and in particular the probiotics that she recommended. I'm really not the best at taking supplements consistently but Daisy was gently persuasive and I'm so glad she was! I've been taking them daily for just over 3 months and the results have been fantastic! I feel that my immunity is so much better. Also my bowel movements are consistently healthy despite eating and drinking lots of things over the festive season that really don't tend to suit me. Before I started working with Daisy my symptoms were rosacea, weight gain, generally not feeling great about my diet and dealing with infertility. Before I started I thought that generally I was already quite knowledgeable around what’s healthy but I felt like I couldn’t address all the issues listed at once as it felt mutually exclusive.
I started to see results within the first month, and despite thinking I knew a lot, I learned something new every time, and was able to fine tune my knowledge around my specific circumstances and understand what works for me.
I enjoyed the process and liked being able to build up on the program as weeks progressed. It can be overwhelming trying to implement everything at once so the pace really worked for me as well as being able to ask questions throughout.
The best results I have achieved are that I am a lot more active than I was when we started working together. I never used to exercise on my own at home but the recommendations in this area really worked well for me. I got a lot of great easy, quick and healthy recipes and tips from Daisy in this area and realised that I can prepare a delicious and healthy meal often a lot quicker than a takeaway delivery would take. I also learned a lot about what to watch out for within ingredients of food and what to avoid for my specific needs. And more importantly build up a lot of new habits that I will continue with going forward.
