Tunbridge Wells

Registered nutritional therapist specialising in perimenopause and menopause

Something has shifted. You are eating well, managing your life, doing what you have always done - and yet your body is not responding the way it used to. The weight is not moving. Sleep is fragmented. Your mood is unpredictable. Your energy is unreliable in a way that does not make sense given how you are living.

For many women, this is perimenopause. And for most of them, it goes unrecognised and unsupported for years.

I am Daisy Tappenden, a Registered Nutritional Therapist (BANT, CNHC) and Level 3 Personal Trainer based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. I specialise in women's hormonal health, perimenopause, and menopause, working with women who want to understand what is actually happening in their body and address it properly - through evidence-based, personalised nutrition and lifestyle support.

How I can help

Hormonal change during perimenopause and menopause affects far more than periods and hot flushes. It affects metabolism, sleep, mood, cognition, gut health, bone density, and body composition. The symptoms are real, they are connected, and they have causes that can be identified and addressed.

I work with women experiencing persistent fatigue and low energy, unexplained weight gain particularly around the abdomen, disrupted sleep and night sweats, brain fog and difficulty concentrating, anxiety or low mood that feels out of character, joint pain and inflammation, digestive changes, low libido, and irregular or changing cycles. My approach is root-cause. Rather than managing symptoms in isolation, I look at the whole picture - your hormones, gut health, stress response, nutrient status, sleep, and movement - and build a plan that addresses what is actually driving how you feel.
