Personal training for women in perimenopause and menopause
As a Level 3 Personal Trainer and Registered Nutritional Therapist, I specialise in supporting women through perimenopause and menopause to build strength, manage their body composition, and take control of their health without punishing workouts or unrealistic expectations.
Hormonal shifts during this stage of life change how the body responds to exercise. The approaches that worked in your thirties may produce frustrating results in your forties and fifties - not because you are doing something wrong, but because the physiological context has changed. Declining oestrogen affects insulin sensitivity, muscle protein synthesis, fat distribution, bone density, and recovery. Training needs to reflect that.
This is not about shrinking yourself. It is about building a body that feels strong, energised, and capable - and that functions well for decades to come.
What personal training with me looks like
Every session is one hour and is built around progressive resistance training appropriate to your current fitness level, health history, and goals. Sessions are based in Tunbridge Wells.
Because I am also a Registered Nutritional Therapist, I understand the hormonal and metabolic context of the women I work with in a way that a personal trainer without that background cannot. Exercise recommendations, recovery, and nutrition are considered together - not in isolation.
The results my clients work towards include building lean muscle mass to support metabolic health and insulin sensitivity, improving bone density and joint health, reducing abdominal weight gain associated with hormonal change, improving energy levels and sleep quality, and rebuilding confidence and motivation in their body.
Sessions and investment
Personal training sessions are one hour and are available as a standalone booking or as an add-on to a nutrition package.
Single session: £70
Five sessions: £315
Sessions can also be incorporated into the Elite 360 Package, which combines weekly personal training with full nutritional therapy support into a single integrated programme.
